These are the rules for using Avsar. They apply to students looking for internships and to organisations offering them.

What Avsar is

Avsar lists in-person internships across Delhi NCR and lets students apply to them. We introduce students and organisations to each other. We are not your employer, and we are not the organisation you end up working with.

Who can use it

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must know about it and agree. We ask for their name and number, and we may contact them.
• Everything you tell us must be true. Made-up profiles get removed.

Applying costs nothing

Browsing and applying is free, however many roles you apply to. A one-time enrolment fee of ₹100 applies only once an organisation has actually accepted you. You will always be told before anything is charged.

If a placement falls through before it starts, through no fault of yours, the enrolment fee is refunded.

We cannot promise you a placement

Organisations choose who they take. We can promise you will get an answer, and we aim for that within a week. We cannot promise it will be a yes.

Certificates

When you finish a placement and the organisation confirms it, we issue a certificate with a unique code that anyone can verify. We may revoke a certificate if we find it was issued on false information.

For organisations

• Describe the role honestly — what the student will actually do.
• Name an adult who will supervise the student.
• Say clearly whether you accept students under 18.
• Reply to applicants. Silence is the one thing students hate most.
• Confirm when a student has completed the placement, so we can issue the certificate.

Organisations that mislead students or fail to supervise them are removed from Avsar.

Behaviour

Treat people decently. Do not harass anyone, do not misrepresent who you are, and do not use Avsar to advertise anything other than genuine internships. We can suspend an account that breaks this.

What we are responsible for

We check the organisations we list, but we do not supervise placements day to day and we are not responsible for what happens inside one. If something goes wrong during a placement, tell us at hello@avsar.example — we will take it seriously, and we will remove an organisation where that is the right answer.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, the date at the top changes, and we will tell you by email if the change is significant.
